CNC YCB9N-40 1P+N MCB — 10A to 40A

The 1P+N MCB switches both live and neutral in a single-module width (18mm). It provides the same protection as a standard single-pole MCB but also disconnects the neutral on trip — an important safety feature for Pakistani wiring where phase and neutral can sometimes be reversed at the meter.

Because it takes only one DIN-rail module instead of two, you can fit twice as many circuits into the same DB box. This makes it the go-to choice for apartment and house panel boards where space is tight.

Why 1P+N Over Standard 1P?

In Pakistan, meter wiring and internal house wiring sometimes swaps phase and neutral. A standard 1P MCB only breaks the line conductor — if the neutral is accidentally on the line terminal, the circuit stays live even after the MCB trips. The 1P+N design disconnects both conductors, eliminating this risk. It costs slightly more than a plain 1P MCB but the safety margin is worth it for residential use.
